You might just find some of the captains from the TV show Wicked Tuna here feasting on—what else—tuna! Tonno is Italian for “tuna,” and chef/owner Anthony Caturano himself fishes on his days off, hauling in his own catch at the wholesaler across from the restaurant, where he also buys his pristine provisions. It’s all delicious, from the grilled swordfish to the daily crudo preparation—and, of course, the Tonno TarTar; the restaurant buys whole tuna and butchers it in-house.

The choices from the sea are practically endless here, from the oysters and raw bar to linguine with clam sauce. They even serve Finnan Haddie, a dish from Newfoundland involving house-smoked haddock served au gratin.
