Agawam Diner, Rowley

Diners have been flocking to this vintage dining car since it opened in 1940. Inside, red leather booths, Formica countertops, tabletop juke boxes, and plenty of chrome add old school charm to an establishment that never fails to live up to expectations. Breakfast is served all day, and that includes the diner’s omelets, homemade hash, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, cube steak with home fries, and fresh-baked muffins. Those with a sweet tooth may prefer to finish with one of the diner’s freshly baked pies, like the towering and Instagram-worthy chocolate cream. 166 Newburyport Turnpike Junction, Rowley, 978-948-7780,
