With temperatures on the rise (hooray!), it’s time for Bostonians to come out of hibernation and onto the sidewalks and patios of Boston’s best area restaurants. 

Below is a list patio opening dates for the best spots (new and old) around town to enjoy food, drinks, and warm days and nights, al fresco! 

 

Tapestry

Tapestry’s covered and heated patio, just steps away from Fenway Park, is the perfect spot to enjoy Neapolitan pizzas, bar bites, and fun cocktails while playing board games and soaking up the sun with friends. Open for dinner and weekend brunch service, Tapestry’s 30-person patio serves up delicious menu items from its Expo Kitchen/brunch menus and features a newly installed mural from local artist Emma Rickert.

Situated along the Greenway on Atlantic Avenue, Nebo’s patio seats 75 and boasts large umbrellas, heat lamps, and breathtaking views of the city. It is available for seating from open to close serving the full menu.

Doretta Taverna

Although Doretta may not boast views of the Mediterranean, enjoying chef Michael Schlow’s and chef de cuisine Brendan Pelley’s Greek menu al fresco will have guests feeling one step closer to the Greek islands. Doretta Taverna’s patio seats 80 and serves the full menu during regular restaurant hours.

SRV’s courtyard patio is located in the rear of the restaurant in a unique space surrounded by neighboring office buildings. The cloistered area features banquettes, whimsical market lighting, greenery, and seating for 46. Once the exercise yard for the prison inmates back when the Liberty Hotel was once the Charles Street Jail, Scampo’s outdoor patio is now considered the courtyard. Loretta’s Last Call
