Color forecasters at the Pantone Color Institute have declared "greenery" as next year's color of the year. The annual shades selected by Pantone are symbolic, a color snapshot that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude. Greenery, a zesty yellow-green hue, more vibrant than chartreuse but deeper than lime, is evocative of fresh starts, new life and spring.
Dubbed as fresh and revitalizing, the zesty green hue works well in a variety of styles, fabrics and designs, and as an accent color or a statement piece.
