Latitude Sports Club just recently held a 24-hour Spinathon at their Methuen location on Friday, April 3rd, 2009.
Teams of twelve riders each pedaled for two hours, with each member donating $100.00 (minimum) to ride. All proceeds from the event have been donated to the William L. Lane Cancer Management CenterÂ… A great cause, and one very dear to the owner of the clubs, as he has battled (and won) against cancer this past year. This year’s spin-a-thon in Methuen rasied$ 35,000 for the William L. Lane Cancer Management Center.
Another spin-a-thon also took place at Latitude Sports Club’s Salisbury location, and raised $50,000 supporting area school athletic programs and a fight against childhood obesity.
