Title: Rockport Chamber of Commerce – TV Forum
Location: televised forum – Cape Ann TV Studios (channel 12)
Description: The Rockport Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a live, televised forum among the three candidates vying for seats on the Rockport Board of Selectmen at the upcoming town elections.
The forum will take place on Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 at 7:30pm at Cape Ann TV’s studios located at 38 Blackburn Center.
The program will be shown live on local cable (channel 12), and then will be re-aired (on channel 12) several times prior to the May 5th, 2009 Rockport town elections.
All three candidates for the two contested seats on the Board of Selectmen – Armand (Dan) Aparo, Wendell (Sandy) Jacques, and Sarah Wilkinson – have agreed to take part in the Chamber forum. Bob Visnick, a member of the Rockport Chamber’s Board of Directors, will serve as moderator.
The Rockport Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Cape Ann TV, is sponsoring the April 8th, 2009 Board of Selectmen Candidates Forum as a public service on behalf of the community and residents of Rockport, through the Chamber’s government affairs program.
