Spring is finally here in Salem!

During school vacation week, enjoy a special savings at Popped Gourmet Popcorn on Pickering Wharf, buy 3 get one free … And every Sunday in April, Flying Saucer Pizza has their Intergalactic Hangover Brunch (can’t help but smile at that name!) featuring delicious breakfast pizzas. Jodi Bee Bakes has new hours, Tuesday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Milk and Honey has new hours as well, Monday through Friday 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.; Saturday 8.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m… and The Lobster Shanty has reopened for the season and is featuring a regular menu till 10 p.m. and a late-night menu till midnight.

Don’t forget weekly wine tastings at Tour Partners Salem Wine Imports on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.; Pamplemousse on Saturdays 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and at The Cheese Shop of Salem on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. And A&J King Artisan Bakery is featuring a delicious Cornmeal Cheddar Scone in April as well as Poached Pear Frangipan Tart, all on their April special menu.

Special Tour Benefiting the Phillips House and HNE, Sunday April 22

The annual Wine and Cheese Stroll benefiting the Phillips House and Historic New England (HNE) will take place on Sunday, April 22. Tickets are available for members and it’s selling quickly. Not a member? Not only is it easy to join, your membership allows access to their great properties throughout New England.


Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13

Make sure to make your reservations at one of the restaurant Tour Partners in advance for a delicious brunch, lunch, or dinner. It’s never too early to plan as it’s a popular day to enjoy a great meal out!

Salem Food Tours will be having its annual Mother’s Day Stroll, which will include a special cheese, wine, sweet, and spice tasting. The Stroll will run from 2-5 p.m., so you can enjoy a sit-down lunch or dinner after.

Salem Spirits Trolley

Gather up your corporate or private group and join in for a great afternoon on board the Salem Spirits Trolley. The tours have welcomed businesses from banking to technology to healthcare and more. Both walking tours and trolley excursions are available. Each journey is custom crafted and can include experiences like team building exercises, catering and sit down lunch experiences, museum visits, and time to shop.

The tours also partner with Lightshed Photography, a renowned local photo studio, to offer superb corporate headshots before your excursion at a deeply discounted rate.
